Effective October 4, 2021, Best Trash will be your new trash and recycle collection provider.
Texas Pride will begin removing carts on Monday, September 27th and will remove trash carts after service on Thursday, September 30th. Please leave your carts out starting Monday, September 27th until they are removed. Best Trash will be providing new carts and recycle bins.
Also, please note that trash and recycling days will be reversed with trash and recycling being picked up on Thursday and trash only on Monday.
Please refer to the Welcome Letter for details regarding the new service. Best Trash is also providing cart hangers in your new bins for additional details.
Please bring in any trash and recycling carts, bags or other items that could get caught in rising street water. These items can float and block the inlet preventing or restricting any water from entering the storm drains.
The FORT BEND COUNTY M.U.D. #185 will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2021 on September 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at 9 Greenway Plaza, Suite 1000, Houston, TX 77046. Your individual taxes may increase at a greater or lesser rate, or even decrease, depending on the tax rate that is adopted and on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value of all other property. The change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in the taxable value of all other property determines the distribution of the tax burden among all property owners.
