RE: Annual Rate Adjustment Notification

WCA Waste Corporation is proud to be your waste service provider. We are committed to providing you with the most professional and reliable service available. We hope you are pleased with our performance and we urge you to contact us at any time with any questions or concerns that you may have.

A component of our mutual contract allows for an annual rate adjustment on the anniversary date of the contract based on the most recently published CPI-U Series CUSR0000SEHG02. The CPI-U data rating for December 2016 was 444.745 versus 436.996 for December 2015, an increase of 1.7%. Effective May 1,2017 the current rate of $17.04 will change to $17.33, an increase of $0.29 cents per month per connection.

To WCA Houston Area Customers,

WCA collection services will be operating today, but due to the flooding conditions in the greater Houston area some areas will not be serviced. We regret any inconvenience caused by this event.

Once we have more updates from our operation team we will update you as well.

This year Christmas and New Year’s Day falls on Sunday. All communities will be serviced on Monday the 26th and Monday the 2nd. Service on the next two Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays may take longer than normal due to the possibility of heavy trash from the holidays. WCA offices will be closed on Monday the 26th and Monday the 2nd.

To WCA Customers,

WCA will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2016 due to the Thanksgiving holiday, so trash will not be collected until your next normal service day on Monday, November 28th.  The Districts next heavy trash day will be the last Thursday of December.

Please understand that Monday, November 28, 2016 will be considered a double day. It will take the crews longer than a normal service day, but you will be serviced on Monday, November 28.
