The Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office has been made aware of a large number of electric motorcycles operated by underaged and unlicensed members of the community. Unlicensed drivers operate these unregistered vehicles on the roadways for transportation to school and for recreational purposes. Operation of these unregistered vehicles by underaged and unlicensed operators is unlawful.
The Precinct 1 Constable’s Office is dedicated to the safety of our community. Citations for No Driver’s License, Operating Unregistered Motor Vehicle, No Insurance, Permitting an Unlicensed Driver to Drive and other traffic violations may be issued. Unregistered vehicles will be removed from the roadway.
We encourage your cooperation in this endeavor to avoid citations and prosecution in court for these violations. Traffic convictions for unlicensed drivers may affect the qualification for the issuance of a driver’s license when they turn 16.
